Das Ensemble Ionisation instrumentale versteht sich als Solist*innen-Ensemble in wechselnden Besetzungen und gestaltet eine gleichnamige Konzertreihe an der MUK Privatuniversität Wien. Den Kern des Repertoires bilden Standardwerke der Neuen Musik, verbunden mit Komponist*innen der Wiener Moderne wie auch Uraufführungen aktueller Kompositionen vornehmlich aus dem Wiener Raum. Unterschiedliche historische Phasen und ästhetische Positionen treten in einen überraschenden wie lebendigen Dialog.
The ensemble Ionisation instrumentale views itself as an ensemble of soloists with alternating groups of instruments, and organizes a concert series of the same name at the Music and Arts University MUK Vienna. The core of the repertoire consists of standard New Music works, together with composers from Viennese Modernism and premieres of contemporary compositions primarily from the Vienna area. Different phases of history and aesthetic positions enter into a surprising and lively dialog.
