Heinrich Jalowetz--Austrian conductor who studied with Schoenberg in Vienna (1904-1908). He worked in Danzig (1909-1910), Stettin (1912-1916), Prague (1916-1923), Cologne (1925-1933), and Reichenberg (1933-1936). He emigrated to the United States, where he taught at Black Mountain College in North Carolina. He wrote articles on Schoenberg. He also arranged (for 4-handed piano) Schoenberg's Pelleas und Melisande, op. 5.
