With its 35th edition in 2026, under the annual theme “global – local,” the isa focuses on music in a world that balances global connectivity with local roots: from 22 July to 2 August, the mdw campus and additional venues across Vienna will become sites of intensive artistic work and meeting points for an international community that understands music as a living, socially relevant process.
