Arnold Schönberg’s late “Phantasy” is just one of many masterpieces for violin and piano from the first half of the 20th century. The wide spectrum ranges from Claude Debussy’s Sonate that draws on music of the French Baroque, to Prokofiev’s canorous song arrangements, and also Janáček’s expressive key work that seems to grasp the musical developments of the era with intense focus. Look forward to an evening with a varied selection of works!
The concert will be streamed live on facebook and YouTube and will be available for seven days afterwards.
