This year, the well-known Schönberg interpreter and violist of the former Schoenberg Quartet Henk Guittart is once again working with up-and-coming musicians. Founded in 2018, the BASC Quartet has built its reputation by premiering new compositions. The young ensemble has been working intensively on Schönberg’s works for some time and will concentrate on the string quartets with Henk Guittart in a master class lasting several days; finally, together with soprano Yui Futaeda (op. 10) it will present the quartets to the audience in two concerts.
