Musical thoughts – as the title of Tomasz Skweres’ work suggests – can have an ephemeral quality and materialize in the ambiguity of musical compositions. On the other hand, musical ideas can also unfold in the logic, technique, and art of their presentation, as Arnold Schönberg writes. The artwork becomes a “labyrinth, in which at every point the expert knows the entrance and exit, without a red thread guiding him.”
