For its debut at the Arnold Schönberg Center, the young Trio Amnis explodes and transcends the boundaries of chamber music three times, each in its own way. The arc spans from Franz Schubert’s symphonically dimensioned late Piano Trio in B-flat Major, which rises erratically out of its time, to the visionary, stirring intensity of Arnold Schönberg’s early “Transfigured Night” to the haunting simplicity of “Heimat?” by the musical border crosser Werner Pirchner
