Located on the South Bank of the river Thames in London, the South Bank Centre houses several concert halls. From 5 October 1988 to 29 January 1989, the Centre presented a series of programs entitled "The reluctant revolutionary: Arnold Schoenberg: his works and his world". Virtually all of Schoenberg's music was performed in this series.
