Friends of the Arnold Schoenberg Institute--founded in 1975 in Los Angeles as a Schoenberg interest group. It helped support the Arnold Schoenberg Institute through its membership dues. It also organized activities such as seminars and lectures. The initial organization collapsed and was eventually reformed in 1985. The organization ceased operation in 1993.
