A recording of Arnold Schönberg’s complete songs, produced by Deutschlandradio Kultur, has been released by the label Capriccio.
The 4 CD boxed set unites not only the songs with opus numbers, of which there are already many recordings, but also rare treasures such as the early versions of the Gurre-Lieder with piano and the songs from his youth, which remained unpublished during Schönberg’s lifetime.
